Use the SIRIS™ Realignment Splint for lateral instability with a limited range of motion. Worn with the spacer on the side of the joint, this splint provides the greatest leverage for correcting lateral instability with a limited range of motion. Order these splints when flexion of the joint is limited to less than 45 degrees, but not for a finger, which has full active flexion since the splint will rotate. The SIRIS™ Realignment Splint is designed exclusively for the PIP joint because of its overall length.
Are you a therapist measuring for this splint?
Note: When considering splints, it is important to consult with, and be evaluated by, a therapist or other healthcare professional who specializes in treating finger problems and who can give advice on the best splint solutions.
